Seatown

I was able to meet up with Eric and Noel for some sunrise shooting. On Saturday, Eric and I went to Swami’s to see how the tide pools were looking at low tide in preparation for our planned photo day with Noel the following day. Most weren’t showing so we decided that tomorrow morning we’d go to La Jolla instead. We stuck around for a bit to make images of all the surfers enjoying the morning.

Sunday, Eric and I met Noel at one of our favorite spots in La Jolla and spent the morning making images. After we got our fix, we got breakfast at a coffee shop not too far away. It was great catching up hearing what the guys have been up to in life. We discussed plans for the soccer game we all were attending in a few weeks as well as lightly planning a possible fall color trip to the Eastern Sierra. Hopefully it works out. We finished up our coffees and headed out. It was great seeing the fellas, even if it was only for a little while.

Below are some sketches I made on those mornings. I did bring the Bronica out as well with some Phoenix II loaded. Once I finish that roll, I’ll share a few of my favorite images.
